My Story

Burnt out from over 10 years as a corporate sales executive, I decided to give Yoga a try. I learned quickly how much of me was missing and that Yoga showed how deeply I craved a reconnection.

Now, with 11 years of personal practice and 5 years with over 1500 hours as a certified yoga instructor, I have made the incredible journey towards that reconnection, which has led to a deeper and more empathetic understanding of myself. Although it has been full of physical and emotional hardship, there are moments of bliss, excitement, and truth. My body and mind have strengthened, translating into emotional stability and mental clarity.

Yoga has shown me a way to find comfort in discomfort. Yoga has taught me to be more self-aware and to always extend kindness to myself and others. Yoga has let me fully embrace and trust myself, unleashing a natural positivity that I believe reflects onto others. Yoga has given me the self-confidence I was lacking.

Working as a consultant and teacher at various studios throughout Illinois, I have found that sharing my experience with Yoga is my true calling. If you come across me when I’m off my mat, you will find me hiking the various parks and forest preserves with my Bull Terrier Zorya, snowboarding with my son in Colorado, or dancing to live music in Chicago.

The least initial deviation from the truth is multiplied later a thousandfold
